Alright, Here I go…
We’re taking this waaaaay back. So far back that I don’t even remember, honest.
My mother was kind enough to save most of my drawings as a kid. I cannot even express how thankful I am she did this. Not only its hilarious to look back at what I used to draw, mostly people of course (Always had this fascination with people & faces from a young age), but in a really marvellous way this shit warms my heart.
Guess I was an artist before I even knew it. I have a stack of these that I plan on scanning and featuring later on but for now, please do me a favour and try to enjoy these…Let’s begin from the top:
- Ask me to draw a table now, because no word of a lie, I would probably still illustrate it the same way. Ask my friends.
- & let’s not even begin with how I draw how houses (comparison to follow, promise!)
- I, clearly, was the main wardrobe designer for Katy Perry’s California Girls video. Google! You’ll know what I’m talking about.
- Last but not least, I once again was doing the tangerine colour blocking before any of you fashionistas.
Not only this was part of my healthy development as a child but also as a young’n I was still capturing the world around me so vividly. I wonder what my thinking process was like!
I miss being a kid.
